Dr. Turner has been working with children and teens for decades. Dr. Turner's goal is to blend play, creativity, and evidence-informed strategies so kids leave camp feeling proud of themselves and excited to come back each day.

Dr. Christine has been a pastoral counselor for two decades, and founded a nonprofit serving victims and survivors of family violence which she operated for nearly 15 years. She is pursuing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
What makes our camp unique is that all our "camp counselors" are clinically trained therapists who have worked with a wide range of children of various ability levels and needs. We accept all people and have designed our program to fit various learning styles and be flexible to the needs of the children in our groups. We can work with children who have Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, poor social skills, low frustration tolerance, low self-esteem and more. During your registration call if we feel we may not be able to help you we will actively support your family by searching for the right resources.
What do I need to bring for my child?
While all materials and snacks will be provided, we ask that you pack a sack lunch for your child each day. Your child can bring their phone for emergency purposes, but use of phones/iPads/other electronics throughout the day are discouraged.
Summer Camp is an enrichment service and not considered reimbursable by insurance.
No refunds are issued with less than 72 hours notice of a cancellation that is not due to illness or emergency (e.g. death in the family). You are eligible for a 50% refund if less than 3 weeks notice and a 100% refund if more than 3 weeks notice. For any other situations refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
For health reasons, your child cannot attend camp if they have had a fever in the last 24 hours or test positive for COVID-19. If your child seems ill (cough or runny nose) they will be asked to wear a mask or be sent home.
